SJ's Hancock Earns CPA Designation

ANDERSON, SC – SuggsJohnson, LLC a CPA and business consulting firm based in Anderson, and the South Carolina Board of Accountancy have announced that Brett B. Hancock has earned his CPA designation.

The South Carolina Board of Accountancy and the S.C. Association of CPAs (SCACPA) will officially convey Mr. Hancock’s licensure at the New CPA Oath Ceremony on Thursday, November 3 at the 2011 CPA Summit.  He will affirm an oath statement and receive his South Carolina CPA certificate in a ceremony conducted by the Honorable Richard Eckstrom, South Carolina Comptroller; SC Board of Accountancy Chair Mark Hobbs, CPA; and SCACPA President Tim Baker.

A native of Anderson, Mr. Hancock joined the firm in 2010 after completing his Master of Professional Accountancy at Clemson University.  He previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the College of Charleston, and also completed an accounting and legal internship with Synter Resource Group of North Charleston, SC.
